Women's Advance 2013
The annual House of Prayer Women's Advance will take place Thursday, January 17 through Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Solvang, California at the Hadsten House Inn and Spa. It a great time of fellowship, encouragement, and refocus for women of all ages and stages of life. The most common question in regards to the event is "What is an advance and how is it different from other retreats for women?"
When the Lord gave Sis. Gridiron the vision for the event 16 years ago, He instructed her to share with the ladies that God is continually calling them to move forward into a deeper relationship with Him. Each year the ladies are challenged to "advance" in all facets and all seasons of their lives, whether they are wives, mothers, daughters, co-workers, and friends. The utmost goal is to teach women to seek after Jesus with a heart that says "Yes, Lord" every day.
The Advance covers two days and two nights filled with singing, teaching, prayer, and lots of laughter. There is opportunity for quiet time alone to reflect and meditate on what God is sharing with you specifically.
The guest speaker at the 2013 HOP Women's Advance is Sis. Diane Vargas, co-pastor of Rock of Horeb Church in Whittier, California. She and her husband, Pete, lived on the Central Coast for many years before the Lord called them to move to Southern California and begin a ministry there.
The registration cost for the Advance is $75.00. This price covers materials associated with the Advance. This price does not include any meals.
Registration and payment must be received by Thursday, November 15, 2012.
Attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel room. Rooms at the Hadsten House are set aside under "House of Prayer" for $139.00 per night. This price includes breakfast each morning.
