Join the House of Prayer Adult Choir as we minister in song at the fourth annual Follow the Star Community program on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Nipomo High School Gymnasium.

Churches Together Nipomo is once again hosting a beloved family Christmas tradition, the Follow the Star Community Candlelight Service.
Follow the Star brings together talented vocalists and musicians from the Central Coast in a program that retells the Christmas Story, musically presenting the reason for the season.

The yuletide fun includes caroling, a light dinner, an extensive dessert buffet and a specially designed Christmas photo area. This event, free of charge to the public, is hosted by a number of Nipomo and Central Coast churches which include House of Prayer.

This event is also a fundraiser for the Nipomo Food Basket and the Nipomo High School Athletics Department. The Nipomo Food Basket serves more than 400 clients and their families each month, providing fresh produce, bread, meat and canned and boxed food items to needy families.

The Nipomo High School Athletics Department serves 23 varsity sports and more than 600 student athletes by providing transportation, uniforms, tournament fees, field restoration and equipment fees.

On December 18, Nipomo Food Basket will collect canned food and other non-perishable food items. The public is invited to contribute items in the receptacles at the entrance of NHS gymnasium during the event.

WE ARE IN ESCROW!!!

House of Prayer Church is in escrow for a property located at 640 S. Frontage Rd. in Nipomo, CAFor over 30 years, House of Prayer Church has ministered in San Luis Obispo County and has been called home by many parishioners. It is now time for House of Prayer Church to establish its own home in a permanent place of worship

We have raised approximately $54,000 through generous one-time donations and monthly pledge fund contributors. Our goal is to raise $65,00 by October 15, 2016 but we need the support of the community to reach this target. We are requesting that you prayerfully consider a monetary donation of any size that will assist us in this task.

Your generous donation allows us to secure a permanent facility on the Central Coast, preserving an influential asset to our community. We need the support of our members, old and new, as well as the benevolence of community businesses and individuals to help us reach our goal.

Under the leadership of Pastor Grant Gridiron, House of Prayer Church has truly exemplified a house of prayer for all nations attracting people of all ethnicities, social and economic backgrounds.

House of Prayer’s work in the community ministering at local correctional facilities such as California Men’s Colony (CMC), feeding the homeless, visiting the sick and sharing the Gospel throughout the community at various community events, like Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market, has touched the lives of many. Families have been restored and lives have changed reflecting the image of Christ.

Help House of Prayer Church continue this work and reach many more by giving to our building fund.

We are accepting donations online through Give Send Go

(www.givesendgo.com/hopslo1) or if you prefer to mail your donation, please send your check to:

House of Prayer San Luis Obispo

PO Box 1767

San Luis Obispo, California 93406

The congregation of House of Prayer SLO would like to thank you for your continuous prayers and your donation of any amount to our fund. With your help we can make this opportunity a reality.

Please join us at our current location at the Grover Beach Community Center, 1230 Trouville Avenue in Grover Beach, California. Sunday Worship Service begins at 10am.

House of Prayer SLO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
